ぷにぷに電機 x Kan Sanoコンビ再び！ヒット曲『ずるくない？』以来3年ぶりとなるコラボレーションは四つ打ち x ラテン、ファビュラスでソウルフルなキラー・チューン！

本作は、煌びやかな都会を背景に繰り広げられる真夜中の危ういゲームをテーマに、四つ打ちとラテンという異なる表情を持った、ぷに電とKan Sanoのコンビによる最新キラー・チューン。二人のコンビは、数々のプレイリストに選出され、Spotify公式の "Best City Pop Songs of 2021"ではチャート1位となったヒット曲『ずるくない？』以来、約3年ぶりとなる。

ぷにぷに電機が作詞・作曲、Kan Sanoがサウンド・プロデュースを担当し、サックスにはKenT (from Soulflex)、トランペットには寺久保伶矢が参加し、ファビュラスでソウルフルな楽曲に仕上がっている。

ジャケットは『ずるくない？』に続いてイラストレーターのisayamaxが本作のために描き下ろし、MVはShunki Babaが監督・演出を手がけた。

Punipunidenki is set to release their latest digital single “Midnight China Blue” on Dec 25, 2024.

This track, a dazzling midnight killer tune by Punipunidenki and Kan Sano, captures the thrill of a dangerous game set against the backdrop of a glamorous city. Blending four-on-the-floor beats with Latin-inspired rhythms, it showcases the duo's dynamic range and creativity.

This marks their first collaboration in nearly three years, following the hit track "Zurukunai?" which was featured in multiple playlists and topped Spotify’s official "Best City Pop Songs of 2021" chart.

With lyrics and composition by Punipunidenki and sound production by Kan Sano, the track also features KenT (from Soulflex) on saxophone and Reiya Terakubo on trumpet, creating a fabulous and soulful sound. The cover art, once again crafted by illustrator isayamax, was specially created for this release, continuing the visual legacy of "Zurukunai?".
