愛知県豊橋市のオススメ グルメスポットのご紹介です。今回は少し奥まったロケーションにあるため、見つけづらい、まるで「隠れ家」のような、でも美味しい料理を提供するお店として「洋食ビストロ にっころや」さんを訪問しています。今回はランチタイムの他ディナータイムの様子もお届けします。

「洋食ビストロ にっころや」さんは「吉田神社」裏手の小道をずっと奥へ進んだ所にある洋食屋さんです。ひっそりと佇む古民家の中はレトロな雰囲気で和みます。また店内奥の大きな窓の外には豊川の美しい景色が広がります。窓側の席は川を眺めながら食事が楽しめるとあってとても人気です。時間帯によって表情を変える川の景色はとても魅力的です。
ところで、洋食屋でありながらお店の名前は「にっころや」（？）これは店主のお母様の得意料理で店主も大好きだった「芋の煮っころがし」からきているのですが、店主曰く「料理の原点がこの味。基本を常に忘れないように。そんな思いから名付けた。」とのことです。
ともあれ、そこは洋食屋さん。本格的なデミグラスソースを使った洋食メニューの数々、定番から独自なものも…。店主自ら手づくりしたドレッシングやソースも絶品です。食事を通して心とお腹を温かい気持ちで満たしてくれるそんな空間です。

"Bistro NIKKOROYA'' is a Western food restaurant located far down the alley behind "Yoshida Shrine.'' The interior of this secluded old house has a relaxing retro atmosphere. In addition, the beautiful scenery of the "Toyogawa River" can be seen outside the large window at the back of the restaurant. Window seats are very popular as you can enjoy your meal while looking out at the river. The scenery of the river, which changes its appearance depending on the time of day, is very attractive.
By the way, although it is a Western restaurant, the name of the restaurant is "NIKKOROYA". It comes from the owner's mother's signature dish, "nikkoro-gashi" (a typical Japanese home-cooked dish using potatoes), which the owner also loved. He says, "This taste is the origin of my cooking. I want to keep remembering the basics. That's why I named the restaurant "NIKKOROYA".''
Anyway, it's a Western restaurant. They offer a variety of Western dishes using authentic demi-glace sauce, from classics to unique dishes. The dressings and sauces made by the owner himself are also exquisite. This is a space that fills your heart and stomach with a warm feeling as you eat.
