♬ INTRODUCTION ♬

The popular stage series that has attracted more than 100,000 audience members is finally adapted into a feature film.

Set on Origoshima, a small island surrounded by a beautiful sea, the story takes place at the island’s only high school, which is facing closure due to depopulation. Through choir singing, a group of unique students gradually form bonds and experience the fleeting moments of youth together.

A heartfelt coming-of-age story where choral music connects young hearts, and bright voices echo across the island.

Youth is something everyone passes through, yet it is irreplaceable. In a society where human connections often feel distant, Shippei and his friends confront their uncertain selves and learn to resonate with one another through singing. Their sincere and passionate journey reminds us that caring for someone else can matter far more than winning a trophy.

With moving choral performances and a bittersweet youth drama, the film delivers a powerful emotional experience.
A melody you will never forget awaits you.

♬ SYNOPSIS ♬

High school student Shippei Iida (RAN) moves from Tokyo to the remote island of Origoshima with his mother.
After transferring to the island’s only school, Origoshima High School, he struggles to adjust to his new life.

However, through meeting his classmates, including Awano Namishima (Hiromi Yamakawa), a girl who catches his attention, he slowly begins to open his heart.

As the school prepares to merge with a mainland high school, a choral exchange event is organized between the two schools. The students visit Sai High School, a powerhouse in choir competitions, where they are welcomed by its charismatic choir captain, Ritsu Kihoin (Keiichiro Koyama).

“Trophy or friends, which would you choose?”

Immature kindness and youthful emotions sometimes lead the students to clash with the people they care about most. Friendship, love, and music do not always move in a straight line, but that is what makes every moment precious.

On a quiet island where time seems to flow gently, a story of youth and harmony unfolds.
Their voices reach across the sea, connecting one heart to another.
