後輪を駆動するRR方式で、リヤオーバーハングに搭載される水冷水平対向6気筒DOHC24バルブエンジンは、3387ccの排気量から、最高出力300ps(221kW)/6800rpm、最大トルク35.7kg・m(350N・m)/4600rpmを発揮した。
