Of all the E89 Z4s, this one offers the most intimate experience of the "essential driving." While it's a modern roadster with an electric hardtop, the M Sport-specific suspension and aerodynamics bring out its sporty spirit.

The classic FR proportions of a long nose and short deck, combined with the M Sport's taut suspension, make it extremely agile on winding roads and respond quickly to steering inputs.

The 2.0L inline-four turbo "N20" engine may seem modest at its 184 horsepower figures, but it actually delivers substantial torque even at low revs, and when paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, it's an incredibly enjoyable ride.

While it lacks the sensuality of the six-cylinder model, it's less front-heavy and more appealing, with a lighter, more nimble ride.

The interior and exterior are tailored specifically for M Sport, with special aero parts, 18-inch wheels, sports seats, and an M steering wheel, giving the car a "special" feel both visually and tactilely.
