吉林省の洮南から馬と牛車で出発して中国東北部をほぼ南北に連なる山脈である興安嶺を越えて、当時のモンゴルの実情を記録に収めた『蒙古實情 興安嶺を越えて 昭和四年十月』（ST000118）の別版と考えられる作品で、元素材はトップ、エンドいずれも欠落している。中間字幕の書体は完全に異なっており文章や文言にも違いがあり、同じカットにもかかわらず別の場所として編集されている箇所など様々な差異が認められる。元素材の尺長がより長い本作では出発地となる奉天駅の場面に加えて、後半では興安嶺を越えた東烏珠穆沁（東ウヂムチン、東ウジムチン）旗や西ウヂムチン（西ウジムチン）旗で撮影された場面まで含まれている。なお、「ST000118」の末尾にある西札魯特貝勒府と王妃のカットが本作では裏焼で左右逆となっている。

The eighth edition of this site presents 25 additional titles covering the years from 1923 to 1943. The selection includes a variety of works that convey different aspects of the prewar period. There are films that document domestic and international travel introducing scenery, industry, and lifestyles, or special events such as national sporting tournaments and various commemorative ceremonies, on the other hand educational and propaganda films that focus on air defense ideas and military power.
