日本の古い山々や静かな神社、そして何千年も続く伝統儀式の中には、ユダヤ教と日本文化を結びつける不思議な痕跡が隠されている――そう語る人々がいます。それは明確な証拠ではありません。しかし、古代から受け継がれてきた象徴、儀式、伝承の中に、数多くの興味深い共通点が存在しているのです。
長年にわたり、独立研究者や歴史家、宗教研究者たちは、日本の伝統文化の一部に古代ユダヤ文化との驚くべき類似点があることに注目してきました。例えば、神社の鳥居が古代中東の門を連想させるという説。また、水による清めの儀式がユダヤ教の「ミクヴェ（浄化のための水浴）」に似ているという指摘もあります。さらに、一部の神職の装束や所作には、古代イスラエルの祭司文化の面影を見る人もいます。
特に有名なのが、「失われたイスラエル10支族」に関する伝説です。古代イスラエル王国が滅びた後、10の部族は歴史から姿を消しました。そして一部の人々は、彼らがシルクロードを東へ移動し、アジアを経て、最終的に日本へ辿り着いたのではないかと考えています。もちろん、多くの主流歴史学者は科学的証拠が存在しないと述べています。それでもなお、この神秘的な物語は、今も多くの人々を魅了し続けています。
日本各地には、海の彼方から渡来した民族の伝承や、六芒星に似た紋様、さらにはヘブライ語に似て聞こえる古い祈りが存在すると語られる場所があります。また、これらの謎を何十年にもわたって研究してきた日本人研究者もいます。

私はイスラエルのテルアビブで生まれ育ち、著名なイスラエル人写真家である父、モティ・ギドンの創造的な影響を受けながら成長しました。幼い頃から常に卓越を追求し、イスラエルの空手全国チャンピオンとなり、さらにイスラエル代表チームの一員として活動しました。
21歳の時、長年の夢を実現し、1996年に伝統空手の修行を続けるため日本へ移住しました。この人生を変える旅は、日本との深い文化的なつながりを築いただけでなく、ストーリーテリング、映像芸術、そして異文化協力を融合させた私のプロフェッショナルな道の始まりともなりました。
2000年には、日本を拠点とする映像制作会社「SGK-PRODUCTION」を設立しました。以来、SGK-PRODUCTIONは、日本のテレビ番組、特に“日本のBBC”とも称されるNHK WORLD向けのドキュメンタリー制作を専門とする、信頼あるプロダクションスタジオへと成長しました。
私たちの活動には、日本を訪れる国内外の著名人との大型プロジェクトや、イスラエルのテレビ局・制作チームとの継続的な共同制作が含まれています。
約30年にわたり日本で生活し、仕事をしてきた経験を通して、私は独自の視点、深い文化理解、そして東洋と西洋をつなぐ“本物のストーリーテリング”への情熱を培ってきました。

Sharon Gidon Kobayashi Born and raised in Tel Aviv, I grew up in the creative shadow of my father, renowned Israeli photographer Moti Gidon.From an early age, I pursued excellence – becoming Israel’s national karate champion and a member of the national team.
At the age of 21, I realized a lifelong dream and moved to Japan in 1996 to continue my studies in traditional karate.This life-changing journey sparked not only a deep cultural connection with Japan, but also the beginning of a professional path that combines storytelling, visual arts, and cross-cultural collaboration.
In 2000, I founded SGK-PRODUCTION, a media production company based in Japan.Since then, SGK-PRODUCTION has grown into a respected studio specializing in documentary filmmaking for Japanese television – particularly for NHK WORLD, Japan’s equivalent of the BBC.
Our work includes high-profile collaborations with Japanese and international celebrities during their visits to Japan, as well as ongoing partnerships with Israeli TV crews and production teams filming in the region.
With nearly three decades of experience living and working in Japan, I bring a unique perspective, deep cultural insight, and a passion for authentic storytelling that bridges East and West.
