徳島県三好市にある箸蔵山ロープウェイの往復前面展望です。山麓駅から標高約600mの箸蔵山駅までを結び、四国別格十五番札所の箸蔵寺への参拝路線として運行されています。

箸蔵寺へのアクセスは、1929年に開業した箸蔵登山鉄道から始まりました。参拝客輸送のために建設されたケーブルカーでしたが、第二次世界大戦の影響により不要不急路線として営業を休止し、その後資材供出のため設備が撤去され、ケーブルカーは廃止となりました。

その後、参拝や観光需要の高まりを受けて1970年代に箸蔵山ロープウェイが開業し、再び山頂へのアクセスが復活しました。さらに1999年には設備更新に伴い現在のルートへ変更され、現在の箸蔵山ロープウェイとして運行されています。車窓からは、条件が良ければ旧ルートと思われる痕跡を確認できそうで、鉄道・索道ファンにとっても見どころのひとつとなっています。

4K Front View Round Trip Hashikura Ropeway to Hashikura-dera Former Route Remains Visible

This is a 4K round-trip front view of the Hashikurayama Ropeway in Tokushima Prefecture, Japan. The ropeway connects the lower station with Hashikurayama Station at around 600 meters elevation, providing access to Hashikura‑dera, one of the Shikoku Betsukaku 15 sacred temples.

Access to Hashikura-dera originally began with the Hashikura Tozan Railway, a funicular railway opened in 1929 to transport pilgrims and visitors up the mountain. However, due to World War II, the railway was suspended as a non-essential service, and later dismantled for material supply, leading to its closure.

In the 1970s, the Hashikurayama Ropeway was opened to restore access to the temple. Later, in 1999, the ropeway was upgraded and rerouted to the current alignment, which remains in operation today.

During the journey, traces of the former ropeway alignment and old tower locations may be visible from the cabin depending on conditions, offering an interesting historical perspective for transport enthusiasts.
