Williams Racing drivers Alex Albon and Franco Colapinto, along with team principal James Vowles, traded their sleek Formula One cars for the colossal machines that power the mining industry on a visit to Komatsu’s Arizona Proving Grounds, where they learned to drive a truck that’s as tall as a two-story house and an excavator with a bucket that can hold 47 cubic yards of material. “The size of the machines we had the chance to operate was mind blowing,” Albon said.
