【事件詳細】
2024年7月。イリノイ州クインシー。この日、緊急通話ダイヤルに家庭内暴力を受けたという男性から通報があり、警官は通報者の家に駆けつけた。

通報内容が暴行に関する内容だったこともあり、３人の警官が駆けつけたが、家には悪態をつく女と外には彼女の子供がいて、通報者の姿はなかった。彼女は警官にホームセンターの明細書と薬の袋を渡し、家の中に閉じこもったが、べサニーは以前にも警察沙汰を起こしており、警官たちは更に彼女から話を聞くことにした。

しかし警官は、通報者や関係者から家庭内暴力について聞けないこの状況でも、家庭内暴力で彼女を逮捕しようとしていた。
