金属加工作業において鋳張りの切断などに使う鏨（たがね）と金属表面の仕上げに使う鑢（やすり)の種類および各作業の基本動作を示した教育映画。『金工工作 たがね作業』（ST000295）『金工工作 やすり掛け作業』（ST000296）とともに、戦時下の動員労働者用の教材として製作された可能性が考えられるが、検閲やフィルムの頒布の記録は確認できていない。

「フィルムは記録する ―国立映画アーカイブ歴史映像ポータル―」では、1927年から1944年までの間に製作された30作品を新たに公開します。今回は、満洲帝国にかかわる歴史的瞬間をとらえた作品のほか、1930年代に発生した大事故と大災害の記録、戦前の日本の産業の姿を伝える作品など、戦争へと進む激動の時代を反映した様々な作品を集めました。国立映画アーカイブでは、今後も随時公開作品を増やしていく予定です。ぜひサイトをお訪ねください。

The seventh edition of this site presents 30 additional titles covering the years from 1927 to 1944. The selection includes a variety of works that reflect the turbulent times leading up to the war, including works that capture historical moments related to the Manchurian Empire, records of major accidents and disasters that occurred in the 1930s, and works that convey the state of Japanese industry before the war.
