「毎月花火が打ち上がるまち」秋田県大仙市。
4月には、若手花火師たちによる新作花火コレクションと国際色豊かな作品を楽しめる「春の章」、10月には創意工夫にあふれた劇場型花火で魅せる「秋の章」が行われます。
そして、8月の最終土曜日に行われる「全国花火競技大会」は、1910（明治43）年から続く伝統と格式を誇る大会。日本の花火界の最高褒賞「内閣総理大臣賞」を目指し、全国から選ばれた花火師たちが技を競い合います。

In Daisen City, Akita Prefecture, fireworks take place every month.

In April, the “Spring Chapter” features a collection of newly created fireworks by young pyrotechnicians, along with internationally inspired fireworks pieces.
In October, the “Autumn Chapter” showcases theatrical fireworks performances filled with creativity and innovation.

And on the last Saturday of every August, the “National Fireworks Competition - Omagari Fireworks” is held. Dating back to 1910, it is one of Japan’s most prestigious events.
The best pyrotechnician in Japan bring their latest pieces to compete for the highest honor in the Japanese fireworks industry—the Prime Minister’s Award.
