Takeuchi Sake Brewery, located in Hofu City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, is renowned for its premium sake, "Nishiki Sekai."

Founded in 1901, it is the only sake brewery in Hofu City.
The name "Nishiki Sekai" translates to "World of Brocade," symbolizing a beautiful and splendid world created through connections and interactions with various people.

The brewery uses 100% natural water from the Saba River system, known for its excellent quality, and locally grown rice from Yamaguchi Prefecture.
Since 2020, they have been using the rare sake rice "Kokuryomiyako," which produces rich and flavorful sake.
The brewery emphasizes traditional brewing methods and collaborates closely with local farmers to ensure the highest quality. "Nishiki Sekai" is celebrated for its smooth, soft taste, even when it has a dry sake meter value, making it a versatile companion to various dishes.
