【Iwami Ginzan Silver Mine】
This is located in Omori, Ota City, Shimane Prefecture. It is the largest silver mine in Japan, which reached its peak from the late Sengoku period to the early Edo period (1560-1690). It was registered as a World Heritage Site in 2007 along with the townscape of Yunotsu.
