●八村塁プロフィール
八村塁（はちむら・るい）は、富山県出身のプロバスケットボール選手。奥田中学校、明成高校、ゴンザガ大学で活躍後、2019年NBAドラフトで日本人初の1巡目指名を受けてワシントン・ウィザーズに入団。その後、2023年にロサンゼルス・レイカーズへ移籍。
2021年東京五輪、2024年パリ五輪では日本代表に選出される。
2025年より、世界の舞台を目指す中高生のためのバスケットボールキャンプ「THE CAMP」を主催。

●BLACK SAMURAI2025とは？
BLACK SAMURAI 2025は、八村塁が世界の舞台で培ってきた学びや視点、そしてマインドセットを日本のバスケットボール界と共有したいという思いから誕生したプロジェクトです。
様々なプログラムを通じて、日本のバスケットボールのさらなる発展を目指します。


●Rui Hachimura — Profile
Rui Hachimura is a professional basketball player from Toyama Prefecture, Japan. After starring at Okuda Junior High School, Meisei High School, and Gonzaga University, he became the first Japanese player ever selected in the first round of the NBA Draft in 2019 and joined the Washington Wizards. He moved to the Los Angeles Lakers in 2023. Hachimura represented Japan at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games (held in 2021) and the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Beginning in 2025, he hosts THE CAMP, a basketball camp for middle- and high-school athletes aiming to compete on the global stage.

●What is BLACK SAMURAI 2025?
BLACK SAMURAI 2025 is a project created by Rui Hachimura to share the lessons, perspectives, and mindset he forged on the world stage with Japan’s basketball community. Through a range of programs—including clinics, talks, showcases, and collaborations—the initiative aims to accelerate the continued development of Japanese basketball.
