冒頭に「從來行はれてゐた作法の各流派の何れにも偏することなく且つ形式に拘泥せず其の精神を取って可成現在の實際生活に適合する様製作したもの」とあるように、姿勢にはじまり、座り方、お辞儀の仕方、神社の参拝、訪問や取次時の対応や案内、お茶やお菓子の勧め方や受け方など、日常生活における様々な基本的作法を紹介する教育映画。

「フィルムは記録する ―国立映画アーカイブ歴史映像ポータル―」では、1915年から1938年までの間に製作された作品を中心に45作品を新たに公開します。今回は、官民で製作された多彩な教育映画のほか、大正天皇即位にかかわる貴重なフィルムや国内外の様々な出来事や風物を伝える作品を集めました。国立映画アーカイブでは、今後も随時公開作品を増やしていく予定です。ぜひサイトをお訪ねください。

The sixth edition of this site presents 45 additional titles covering mainly the years from 1915 to 1938. The selection includes a variety of educational films produced by the public and private sectors, while valuable footage related to the enthronement of Emperor Taisho and films that convey various events, scenery and customs both in Japan and abroad.
