Minobusan Kuonji Temple is the head temple of Nichiren Shu Buddhism. It is easily accessible from Tokyo with a 2-hour drive away. This sacred place is surrounded with rich histories of more than 750 years. Minobusan's surroundings offers abundance in nature, where changes of four seasons such as cherry blossoms in spring, green leaves in summer, maple leaves in autumn, and snowscape in winter are just as equally spectacular and breathtaking. You may enjoy the nature surrounding Minobusan and explore the place.

Among the things to do at Minobusan are visiting Nichiren Shonin’s grave (founder of Nichiren Shu school. 1222-1282) and various prayer halls of the Buddha and protective deities in Minobu. Besides that, Minobusan Kuonji has been chosen as a location to stage Japanese classical performing arts such as Kabuki, Kyogen, and Rakugo.

日蓮宗総本山
身延山久遠寺（みのぶさんくおんじ）は東京から車で2時間30分。
750年の歴史をもつ日蓮宗の総本山です。

春には桜、夏は美しい新緑、秋には紅葉、冬は雪景色に変わる四季の変化に富む、自然豊かな場所です。

日蓮聖人(1222-1282)のお墓や、様々な神仏を祀るお堂があり、すべてを回るには1日あっても足りません。
歌舞伎、能、狂言、落語など、多くの日本の古典芸能の舞台にもなっています。
