筆頭の朝乃山、二枚目石崎、三枚目朝白龍はそれぞれ５勝、６勝、全勝優勝と考えうる最高の成績を残しました。
９月から開催される秋場所は関取が4人となり、今まで以上に番付をにぎわせてくれると期待しています。

◆高砂部屋への入門募集要項
・義務教育を修了した23歳未満の男子
・日本相撲協会が指定している社会人や大学のアマチュア大会で一定の成績を残した人は25歳未満
・身長：167cm以上
・体重：67kg以上

＊ただし、三月場所新弟子検査受験者で、中学卒業見込み者に限り
・身長：165cm以上
・体重：65kg以上

検査時、体格基準に満たない者は、新弟子第二検査を受験し、その運動能力が十分であることを認められた場合、合格となる。
